Description

This webinar features presentations from two secondary and tertiary intervention programs in Québec and Ontario. Operating across most of Québec and housed in the West-Central Montreal Integrated Health and Social Services Centre (CIUSSS), the Polarization Clinic is a team of social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists, including child psychiatrists, providing specialized supports to individuals and families affected by radicalization to violence. The John Howard Society of Ottawa’s Project ReSet offers multi-disciplinary services in Eastern Ontario to support individuals and families affected by hate-motivated violence by providing interventions aimed at disengagement and reintegration for cases of radicalization to violence. Similar to webinar three, this session discusses the programs’ approaches, objectives and outcomes, as well as case management and interventions supporting disengagement from violent extremism.
