To celebrate the release of CASW's Code of Ethics, Values and Guiding Principles (2024), CASW will be running a contest each week, from January 15th to March 1st, 2024. Each contest will feature 1 of the 7 Values from the CASW Code of Ethics (2024).
To be eligible for the contest each week, CASW members will need to submit their reflections on a Code of Ethics (2024) Value along with their contact information. One contest winner will be randomly selected each week to receive a $200 Mastercard Gift Card. To increase the chance of winning, CASW Members are encouraged to submit entries for each of the 7 weekly contests.
Each contest will be open for submissions on the following dates:
- Value 1: January 15th to 19th
- Value 2: January 22nd to 26th
- Value 3: January 29th to February 2nd
- Value 4: February 5th to 9th
- Value 5: February 12th to 16th
- Value 6: February 19th to 23rd
- Value 7: February 26th to March 1st

Value 7 emphasizes the importance of social workers engaging in lifelong learning, professional development, and self-reflection to practice within their level of competence and contribute to the ongoing development of the social work profession.
