18th annual Missing and Exploited Children Training Conference (MECC)
Registration for the 2018 MECC is NOW OPEN.
What: The Canadian Centre for Child Protection’s 18th annual MECC, a leading conference on missing and exploited children in Canada. The MECC provides three days of training by experts on a wide range of issues, including the detection and investigation of child victimization and internet-related exploitation.
When:
May 15 – 17, 2018
8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Who: Law enforcement members, social workers, educators, prosecutors, counsellors, lawyers, medical professionals, policy analysts, and others working with missing and/or exploited children.
Where: Winnipeg, Manitoba
Why: The MECC provides training on topics that address both the constant factors in missing and exploited children cases, and the constantly-evolving technologies impacting Canadian children that frontline professionals need to know about.
Cost: $350 Early Bird Fee (until April 30, 2018 and $375 thereafter).
