As the federal government aims to 'halve' chronic and episodic homelessness, there's growing evidence from both Canada and the United States that ending chronic homelessness is possible.

To claim this title, their accomplishment had to be confirmed by the US federal department of Housing and Urban Development, the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness and Community Solutions. Bergen County is a leading participant in Built for Zero, a US campaign to end chronic and veteran homelessness led by Community Solutions.
