With sadness the Canadian Association of Social Workers (CASW) acknowledges the passing of Harry McFarlane Morrow, a former CASW President from 1964-1966.
 
He died peacefully on August 17, 2013 at Sunnybook Hospital in Toronto at the age of 97. He was predeceased by Kay, his wife of 52 years. Harry was a loving father to David (Barbara), Lynn (Keith Brennenstuhl) and Greg (Roberta) and grandfather to Sarah Brennenstuhl (Jonathan de Swaaf), Emily Brennenstuhl,Anne, Gene (Renée Lagace), Chris McCallan (Lenny Chong) and Correne McCallan (Chris Barrett).
 
He was the Executive Director of the University Settlement House in Toronto from 1954 -1966 and was the first Dean of Social Work at the University of Windsor where he established the first BSW program in Ontario  if not in Canada.
 
A celebration of Harry’s life will be held at Eglinton St. George’s United Church,35 Lytton Blvd., Toronto, on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00 a.m. Attire is summer casual.
